Victor Carl Chan

I'm a PhD student at the University of Toronto, Department of Astronomy and Astrophysics!

Here are some of the things I've worked on. Click on any topic to learn more.

LiteBIRD is an upcoming CMB satellite that I am characterizing readout systematics for. Specifically, I am simulating the observational effects of detector crosstalk with a software called TOAST.

I've helped to discover and characterize extreme plasma lensing effects caused by the eclipse of the Black Widow Pulsar.

Here's a handy calendar for when you need to know when I'm available.
